I am always one for networking and meeting new people. I recently came across a networking group online called  Professionl Bi/Lesbian Women of Color. I would greatly recommend for all of my  business minded sistahs to find out for themselves if this is a group they wish to be a  part of.  The meet up group was created as a platform for lesbian and bi business women of color to socialize, network, discuss ideas, show support and help promote lesbian owned businesses. I found it such a coincidence I once again stumbled upon somrthing relevant to my mission. . The topic for the Next Bent Radio broadcast centers on LGBT support and involvement.  LezNation Magazine's mission statement includes a focus on women of color. This month's site is decidated to women in the LGBT business world in honor of Black History month.   I say I found out about this group right on time!

I signed up for Professional Bi/Lesbian Women of Color recently,  submitted my info and started receiving details on several functions where I can make new associates, friends, and network with my peers.  There is  a message board with great discussions, many women business owners you can connect with, and monthly events made available by the group  that seem informative as well as fun. I received a warm welcome by the group's founder as well as other members. I'm truly looking forward to the Sunday brunch I signed up for as well as the Meet and greet at the infamous Negrils. Of course  you know I will tell you all about it.
